Hi, this is MakeN Enhanced Quality Mod for Left 4 Dead Beta 2 part 1
Before start let me clear this:
1) This is a personal project for now, its based on my tastes, visions, etc. Im not a Pro so the tools or Editors or Mods that i could be using for this are not so hard for me to use and toy with.
2) Dont ask what kind of Editors, Tools or Mods im using. That will be later after finish this.
3) Take in consideration that you could not see the pics and effects as i do coz impossible to determinate what kind of configuration do you have in your Monitor/LCD and desktop overlay. I recommend to configure you Monitor/LCD with: Red: 50%, Green: 50% and Blue: 50%. Your Desktop Overlay by default and if you use Nvidia and Ati video cards then set their colours to default and the same for contrast and bright. Im using a personal color,contrast,gamma and bright for my desktop and everything but always you take one screenshot or make a video it will be saved without it. The only way you can see everything at 100% as i do is playing by youself with the Mod Active so Pictures could give you about 50%75% of the real quality ( taking the things i said before about your Monitor and Desktop color ) so please do everything i said to gain more precision 80/90% . The same apply for Videos and playing using the Mod then 100%.
4) Pictures will be more Detailed with some examples for you can see more the differents and understand more about the changes. Im taking this in consideration coz i know there is some peoples that cant understand this kind of stuffs so please take your TIME! and some patient. DONT SAY SOMETHING with bad intentions about this Mod without have any knowledge or understanding ( i will not give s... to anyone with empty words and not good reasons :D ). This is why im giving more Detailed Pictures and all i can for you can understand much more :) .
5) Pics were taken with this pc specs:
c2d E8500 - 4.2Ghz
2x2gb ddr3 at 1775 @ 7-7-7-21
nvidia gts 8800 g92 512vram in SLI with high clocks of course
and in the game settings was:
1600x1024 Windowned mode
everything high just 4xMSAA and with extras like: AO

1- Added more Bloom.
2- Added more Reflection.
3- Added more Ilumination.
4- Better AO ( Nvidias Ambient Obclusion )
5- Added more and better Color Correction.
6- Added better Brightness and constrast
7- Better Shadows.

4- Light coming from far ( you know where in this part :) ) and not from flash light.

Can you see this part too? :D omg you can compared and see the differenc the two parts one more bright and the other more dark and thats realistic and you know why..thanks to the light coming from the left :D. Again i like this pic and part so much. Try to compare the original provide from the game by default and new one and if you can see then you need better glasses than mine :D.
